Signed, sealed, delivered

We picked up our apostilled paperwork, dashed off to make copies and get the originals and a copy in the mail to our agency. We got confirmation that it was delivered and then an email from our case manager saying she had mailed it to our coordinator in the region. We're on our way! Next step court date! What a great Christmas present. I'm taking a poll - how long did you have to wait for your court date after you sent your final paperwork in?

Oh my, ours was 7 months, but we were hung up in the accrediation mess! We had to redo our police clearances and medicals 3 times because we were told that they expire 90 days from the date that was on the forms. After our agency was told that the judge was reviewing our case and needed a few extra documents in Nov 2005, we were granted a court date within 2 weeks.

Good Luck and hope you get a speedy court date!!!

We pretty much hand delivered all of our round 2 docs when we were in Volgograd. We just got our court date today (yeah!!) so it took from Nov. 8th (the day we returned from trip #1) until today to get it, although I think it is probably different in every region.

Hope you get quick court date our region is known to be slow, our judge supposedly had 3 months from time paperwork was submitted to issue court date and it took the 3 months. I think most regions seem to have about a 6 week turnaround. Praying you hear great news of court date soon!
